“live in germany”

Like most bands, The Hooters started out playing in small clubs. And in a way, we will always remain a “club band” at heart. But now unfortunately many of these venues, large and small, are closing their doors.  In these difficult times, among so many worthwhile causes, we’d like to direct you to # Save Our Stages, which is working on grants and government assistance for the much-needed financial support of the arts, and NIVA (National Independent Venue Association), trying to preserve the “indie” taste-making venues that we all cherish. 

So please join us and do whatever you can (if you can) either by donating to these fund-raising organizations such as the NIVA Emergency Relief Fund, by contacting your Senator or Congressional Rep. (in the States), or by patronizing and supporting the unique live performing spaces in your local community that truly need your help to survive. 

We are confident that we will all get and give the music back, bigger and better than ever.
